Our two little girls have been Purchase Day Campers for several years: To them, summer is Purchase Day Camp. They love it!! It is fun, wholesome, safe and a terrific learning environment with an incredible staff of young people who are great role models. They are both very good swimmers due to the professional swim program provided each day throughout the summer. How lucky they are to have such a wonderful opportunity, experience and memory. Isn't it all about memory building?!

We have been associated with Purchase Day Camp since 1986 when our first son attended. Since then, all four of our children have attended or worked for 40 camp years. Having checked other day camps, sleep-away camps, sports camps etc., we have seen no program as fine as Purchase. What makes it so unique is the camper/counselor ratio, the returning counselors and campers, the varied schedule and the facilities. - Roseanne Snopkowski



At Purchase Day Camp, we focus on each camper's best interests. Our goal is to help your child grow socially and emotionally. Our counselors use sensitivity, enthusiasm and encouragement to build self-esteem. People often ask me what makes PDC better than other camps; I tell them the answer is our large number of returning TEAM Members. They make the camp safe and fun, and that's why we have over a 75% return rate of campers.
