BUTTERNUT BASIN
Located in Great Barrington, MA (Travel time approximately 2 hours +/-)
Spend a day with your child/chidren on the slopes.
The Purchase Community House is offering a parent/child skiing/snowboarding adventure.

ELIGIBILITY - Children must be accompanied by a parent if they are in Kindergarten, First or Second Grade. Children who are in 3rd Grade and Up are not required to be accompanied by a parent. It is strongly recommended that each child have at least one prior ski experience. Parents of K, 1st or 2nd Graders will be solely responsible for their children, and must be present with their child at all times while at the mountain.

FEES - $95 for each skiier. Checks can be made out to the Purchase Community House. Your fee includes an all day lift ticket, 2 hours of tubing, coach bus transportation, 1 1/2 hour group lesson, supervision, refreshments on the bus, and all tips and gratuities.

LUNCH - Lunch will not be provided by the PCH; you may bring a lunch or you may purchase lunch at Ski Butternut. (Refreshments will be provided by the PCH to and from Ski Butternut.)

TRAVEL TIMES - We will depart from the PCH at 6:00am. We will return at approximately 6:30pm.

MINIMUM - 15 Registrants required to warrant this trip.

REGISTRATION - Registration begins on January 23rd and is ongoing. Registration Deadline is February 15th. All trips must be paid in full at time of registration. There will be no refunds for participant cancellations unless we are at full registration and are able to fill your spot. SKI & SNOWBOARD EQUIPMENT RENTALS - All ski equipment rentals must be arranged by the participant PRIOR to the trip. We recommend that you rent from the Pedigree Ski Shop using our special PCH coupon, available in the PCH office. With the PCH coupon you will receive skis, boots and poles or a snowboard and boots for $25. Equipment may be picked up the Friday or Saturday before our trip and may be returned the Monday after.

SKI LESSONS - What a deal! Butternut basin includes a 1 1/2 hour group lesson for everyone in our group. The cost of the lesson is included in the total fee of the ski trip. That's a $30 value!

Remember K-2nd must ski with an adult.
