The Purchase Community House offers a variety of Special Events and Programs throughout the year. After School Program Membership is required for some of these events.  Please see the specific registration information for each event.


On various Purchase School conference days during the 2015-16 school year, we will be opening early for drop off activities. Below is a schedule of Early Bird Drop-Off days with the time that drop off activities will begin:

Early Bird Drop-Off Days

Purchase School dismisses early on Wednesday and Thursday, December 9th and 10th, 2015. The PCH will be OPEN from 11:15am to 5:30pm for ALL GRADES. PCH TEAM Members will escort children from Purchase School to the Community House.

Holiday Toy Drive





(Donations will be accepted from November 23 until December 18, 2015)


The Purchase Community House is sponsoring a community awareness campaign for our children. Our "Holiday Toy Drive" event will be to benefit The Holiday Project, sponsored by the Harrison Food Pantry.



Please join us in our Children's Commitment to the Community.




NEW, UNWRAPPED TOYS can be donated for both boys and girls of all ages. Our "Holiday Toy Drive" box is located in the front hallway of the PCH.


This year, we are asking for your help...not for our house, but for somebody else's. Thank you so much!



On select Fridays during the school year, the PCH will host exciting theme days and special events from 3:00pm until closing.

Wacky Fridays


Everyone who participates in Wacky Fridays will be entered!

November 6, 2015: Lend a Helping Can (donate a canned good to Harrison Pantry)
November 20, 2015: Neon Night (wear something neon)
December 11, 2015: Holiday Toy Drive (donate an unwrapped toy to Harrison Project)

After School Membership is required to attend the Purchase Community House on Wacky Fridays. If Wacky Friday falls on the same day as the Friday Night Youth Program, non-members attending Friday Night Youth that night are permitted to participate beginning at 3:00pm.

The Winter Session begins Tuesday December 22, 2015. Enjoy 1 hour of Enthusiastic, No Stress, Fun Exercise with Licensed Instructors Terri-Ann Gordon and Jessica Fumasoli.

The PCH is hosting Holiday Camps during the 2016 March and April breaks, and they will be a BLAST!!


Eligibility: All Kindergarten through 8th Graders

This annual festive event includes a Costume Parade, Halloween Hunt, and Refreshments

Date: Friday, October 30th, 2015


Time: 3:45-4:30pm


Eligibility: All Kindergarten through 5th Graders.


Price: $5/child, due with online registration or registration form. You can register online here. PCH After School Membership is NOT required.


Costumes are strongly encouraged. Program will be held SHINE only. Afterschool classes WILL NOT be held but the Drop-in Center will be open. If weather is inclement, program will be canceled. Please call (914) 949-2636 after 2:30 or check this website on the day of the event for a decision.
