The Purchase Community House offers a variety of Special Events and Programs throughout the year. After School Program Membership is required for some of these events.  Please see the specific registration information for each event.


Date: Thursday, October 31st, 2019


Time: During After School Program. Candy Hunt starts at 3:30pm, Candy & Pumpkin Guess from 4:00-4:30pm.


Eligibility: PCH After School Members


Price: Free! No registration required, but you must be an After School Member to participate

Candy Bar

This event includes a Candy Hunt throughout the PCH building, refreshments and beverages. There will be 2 contests, including "Guess the Weight of the Great PCH Pumpkin" and a Candy Guess.

Play BINGO for Prizes! ONLY 20 Bingo Prizes will be awarded to the lucky winners! Pizza, Chips and Drinks will be provided.

Early Bird Drop-Off Days

Harrison Schools are closed on Tuesday, November 5, 2019. The PCH will open for ALL GRADES from 9:00am to 5:30pm on November 5th.

The PCH is hosting Holiday Camps during the February and April breaks, and they will be a BLAST!! Register online for the April camp or submit the registration form to the office.

Holiday Toy Drive





(Donations will be accepted until December 14, 2018)


The Purchase Community House is sponsoring a community awareness campaign for our children. Our "Holiday Toy Drive" event will be to benefit The Holiday Project, sponsored by the Harrison Food Pantry.



Please join us in our Children's Commitment to the Community.




NEW, UNWRAPPED TOYS can be donated for both boys and girls of all ages. Our "Holiday Toy Drive" box is located in the front hallway of the PCH.


This year, we are asking for your help...not for our house, but for somebody else's. Thank you so much!


wacky fridays

The Wacky Friday program offers many fun & exciting activities for children in Grades 2nd - 5th. Activities include supervised games in the gym, open play time for girls and boys, Scatter Dodge, Mini Hoops, Auditorium Amusements, a Movie and FUn with your FRIENDS! The hours of the Wacky Friday program are from 3:00 pm to 8:30 pm. A PCH Membership is NOT required.

Dinner will be served from 5:30 pm - 6:15 pm. Individuals that are not interested or have allergy concerns with the dinner menu may bring their own dinner from home. We cannot accomodate Special Requests for dinner. Please not that activities will resume after the dinnertime concludes around 6:15 pm.

Annual Meeting

All Purchase Residents are cordially invited to the Annual Meeting of the Purchase Community, Inc. A brief meeting will be highlighted by the election of the 2018-19 Board of Directors. All residents are welcomed and encouraged at this important community meeting. Coffee and refreshments will be served. Children are welcome, so let's have a terrific turnout!

Purchase School is holding their Parent Open House on Thursday night, September 27th, 2018. Skip the sitter, and bring your children to the Purchase Community House! After School Membership is not required.

The Purchase Free Library in collaboration with the Purchase Community House

We are excited to partner with the American Red Cross on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 to launch the first of what we hope will be many blood drives. We'll be working together to give back to the community in a truly life changing way since each donation we collect can save up to three lives.


If you are interested in donating, please go to www.redcrossblood.org, click Donate Blood, then click Blood Drive and enter Purchase as the sponsor code. You are able to pick a time slot for when you would like to donate!

The Purchase Community House will be hosting a canned food drive until Friday, November 9, 2018. We will be accepting canned food donations from 9am to 6pm. All canned food will be donated to the Harrison Food Pantry to help families in need. Please help out!
